A better 2nd Period by The Blues, but Husso thinking he had the puck in his glove but it dropped free right to an Oiler, and ended up in the net with 2 minutes left was a killer. The Blues have their work cut out for them in The 3rd. I'd be afraid to play Binnington again. The skaters have seen that he has no confidence. So they think they have to score 7-8 goals when he plays. So they try to outskate teams that are faster, and more skilled than they are, and abandon their 2-way game, stop hitting, stop backchecking and stop forechecking, just trying to "create" their own, personal offensive plays, and don't play as a team.
