That can't be right, Wild gained a pint on us tonight.
There are 2 spots. Doesn’t matter if the Wild get one of them.

We have the tiebreaker over Calgary if we win. Otherwise, if they lose just one game in regulation, they can’t pass us.

Brutal loss. We have to beat Utah in regulation now to clinch, assuming Calgary wins out. We still have four opportunities to clinch, but man it could've been a lot easier if we just held Edmonton to OT and scored on one of the 5 chances we had to win it in the shootout

That can't be right, Wild gained a point on us tonight.
we hold the tiebreaker right now over calgary due to regulation wins. they could technically surpass us if they win their last 3 in regulation and we win in OT/SO vs Utah. But Calagry cannot pass us on ROW. So if the Blues win in regulation, does not matter what calgary does.

But this is uptight and full of chokers atm, so I expect a massive letdown on home ice. Those blown Regulation wins against the Canucks/Pens could possibly screw them.

What concerns me is we really struggled to even get to OT against a bad Seattle team, with Grubauer in net who has been awful this year.

Utah is a team we’ve had problems beating since their Coyotes days

What sucks as well is we wont know where Calgary stands on our last game. Meaning if it's tied late in the game we almost certainly wont pull our goalie to win in regulation, which could cost us the tiebreaker and the season if Calgary wins out.

Time to pray the Sharks do the impossible and let us Clinch before game 82.

More bad news: Vegas has clinched their division and it is extremely likely that LA will not be able to move spots either by game 82 against the Flames. So Flames could end up facing the Sharks and two playoff teams resting players and having nothing to play for.

Crazy to blow a 3-2 lead in the 3rd on a borderline goal (overhead view looked like a kicking motion to me) and then to have five chances in the shootout to grab the extra point and fail.

Lucky to escape Seattle with any points honestly. And then Minnesota erases a 2-0 deficit in the 3rd and wins in OT.

Looks like its going to have to come down to the wire in true Jobu Major League fashion.

It really feels like somehow, someway, the Blues will both miss the playoffs, and secure the 16th overall pick.

It seemed impossible they would make the playoffs heading into the 4 nations. It seemed impossible they could miss the playoffs after winning 12 games in a row.

I’d like to see them get in the playoffs but the Blues fan in me sees it going the other way
