What a difference Darryl Sutter has made. I honestly thought the Game passed him by, but he’s got this Flames Team dialed in.

I don't know about that, even with their improved depth they've literally only won games when Markstrom carries the team. Any time Markstrom slumps the team cannot win. A 'shitty' team like Edmonton is way more dangerous because they can win with AHL goaltending, so if their goalies ever show up they're almost unbeatable. The Flames are just a more balanced version of the Maple Leafs, they'll choke and implode at the first sign of adversity.

When Darryl Sutter took over in LA, I immediately thought he would be terrible. Not just bad, but terrible.

This is not true at all. They consistently outplay teams (like they’re doing tonight). They don’t win just because of Markstrom.

Much better team than Edmonton and it isn’t that close.
