Was Parayko in camp with him? When? I think he made club his first camp as college players don't typically go to training camp.Parayko and Binnington were both in camp with Oshie.
Vrana, Walker and Bortuzzo played real games with him.

That’s what I thought too.Was Parayko in camp with him? When? I think he made club his first camp as college players don't typically go to training camp.
Blais in NYR tooI had the same thought about Reaves the other night, it’s just Parayko and Borts
The year he was drafted, 2012.Was Parayko in camp with him? When? I think he made club his first camp as college players don't typically go to training camp.
Yeah, he can go back to Springfield now.Hofer is now 2-1 in 3 games as a Blue!
where do you see that? while it is not unusual for college guy to come to rookie camp, i don't recall ever seeing one in actual training camp. not saying you are wrong, but i don't as of yet see anything on web indicating that he was at main training camp that year. The year he was drafted, 2012.
Came for Rookie Orientation, stayed for a few days of training camp(on his own dime; well, mommy and daddies dime but you know what I mean) before heading back to school.
Wasn't a game or even remotely official, but they have shared the ice.
And you probably won't find anything online about it.where do you see that? while it is not unusual for college guy to come to rookie camp, i don't recall ever seeing one in actual training camp. not saying you are wrong, but i don't as of yet see anything on web indicating that he was at main training camp that year.
Very cool. Thanks! And you probably won't find anything online about it.
Like I said, it wasn't official. But he was definitely one of the guys who was skating with them during the leadup to actual camp and stuck around for the first weekend. One of the very few times I actually got to go to some of the informal skates the last several years and Parayko stood out because of his size. Colt definitely gravitated more towards Petro and Jackman but Oshie was on the ice with him.
Given how Oshie was at the time, I doubt he even knew Colt's name. It was just some random tall kid hero worshipping our D men. Osh didn't pay any attention to him at all.
These are the Blues.no response from the late hit ?
His wife.Is there anyone on the current Blues (besides Ott) that played with Oshie?
FIX THE BLUELINE
Beyond that, Hofer is the future and so far I’m loving it.
agreed.. WSH didn't look good at all... especially in a 'must win' gameOK, so we won.
Hofer looked "alright" while untested. We'll get a better barometer on how his career will pan out next year when we expect him to start 20+ games in STL. I liked that he was not over-moving in the 1st and second. He seemed to start swimming a bit when things got more challenging in the 3rd. It could just be a lack of NHL experience. Puck moving was a little iffy sometimes, but I think he needs to get used to the breakout system and where the guys will be.
Fun watching Vrana, Kappy, and Kyrou.
Bortuzzo, the shot-blocking machine!
Thankfully Washington was one and done until it was too late in the 3rd to catch up. It looks like they thought this game was going to be a cakewalk.
Yes. Springfield is in the middle of a playoff push and the Blues are going to do everything in their power to help them. They just sent down Tucker and Alexandrov for that reason as well.Hofer likely goes back to the AHL when Binnington is back?

I hope so, but let's see how things shake out when the league gets some film on himGlad they tried Vrana with Thomas and Kyrou been wanting to see that for awhile.
Thought Hofer was excellent and I bet he’s going to be a great goalie for us.
