Caps have been outperforming their metrics all season largely because Logan Thompson looked like Connor Hellebuyck v.2. Now that their goaltending has normalized they're just a shade above average.

He's played a lot better this season than the past 2 seasons. He seems to finally be over his back problems. So, I'm plenty happy with his play so far this season.

Yeah, he's been fantastic, just wish he learned his goal scoring ability earlier in his career. Being more involved on rushes, or roaming down from the point more often.

Both Fowler and Parayko joining The Offence has helped The Blues a LOT this season. Otherwise, we'd have a good "natural Tank" going!

I don’t think it’s a coincidence the trade rumors pick up and the team plays better. It’s great to see the young guys playing well and getting rewarded but the wins are kind of fool’s gold

Blues 2 on one with Sundqvist making a perfect feed to Bolduc, who was streaking towards the net, but Bolduc shot it right to Lindgren's midst, so it wasn't a difficult save.

Perhaps, but we are finally healthy and had several days of practice to better learn how Monty wants to play.

This is a good hockey team. Might have taken us too long to get there.

I wish we'd have traded for Fowler 2-3 years before. He's really helped both our defence, AND our offence. Yet lots of fans hope we trade him off at The Deadline. He and Parayko make a decent 1st pairing. I'd keep him for 2-3 more seasons, until The Blues can replace Suter, and Leddy, and Krug's bad contract is over, and their current prospect D-men can play on a decent level in The NHL.
