Looks like a very attractive job offer, and since we became empty nesters it’s a good time for a move like this. We’ll see how the interview goes. I’m sure it will be easier to find a skating rink in Billings than it has been on the Mexican border.

I agree this could be the best offensive team we have had in a long time, especially on the back end. We will have to disagree about the defensive liability part. Good test tonight to find out though. Maybe we score enough that it doesn’t matter much.lol one can hope.

Blues roster they released earlier had kyrou not on our roster and just on the taxi squad. Unless something happened to blais that hes not in the lineup.

Edit: apparently they later called up kyrou and macmac after putting tarasenko on ltir.

Most have been salary cap games.

I keep looking at our d pairs and thinking that’s not a D oriented line up.

I see a defensive liability on all 3 pairs. The 2nd pair worries me the most. I don’t think Scandella is good enough defensively to cover for Faulk. I was so confused when we signed Krug ( signaling Petro leaving) knowing we had just traded and signed Faulk. Now Faulk isn’t even on one of our PPs. Makes no sense to me.

Are we going to see the Blues shift to a more offensive style team that takes chances? Are we going to try to get two guys to play a totally different style and buy into our system? Remember we are stuck with Krug and Faulk for another 6 yrs.

All I am saaaaaaayin' is give Faulk a chance! Everybody now!

I would say the majority of posters here agree with you. I would say there are more Faulk apologists than critics. Fortunately, it is finally time to actually see what we have on the ice. Go Blues!!!

This is the most excited I have been for a start of season as I can remember. 1). This team, 2) Short season and 3) Intensity of playing these same teams over and over again. Hopefully we can gel our additions into the team and make a strong and long run. LGB!

I wouldn’t even say Colorado has 3 elite pairs at all.

They have Conor Timmins in there who has played 2 NHL games in his career. Graves and Cole are fine players, but they’re not elite. Far from it.

Colorado is good but you can make an argument they’re no better than us. If they are, they still have a lot to prove.

Hope the Blues answer the bell. Really, all we need to do is split with them. If we win one of these first 2, then we’re in fine shape.
