The schiefele fly by weak side step poke attempt on Schenn coming out of his zone, leading to the third goal was the epitome of the game, and the playoff mentality of this team. So weak and not willing to do what needs to be done.

I hated Scheifs flyby . It was not the way he played most of the regular season.

There's no way Arniel starts Comrie in Game 5, even though he should.

If this was any other team, and their starting goalie had a 0.817, that goalie wouldn't see the ice again. Especially if they had a 0.870 in the previous 2 Playoffs.

The problem is, Chevy didnt get a backup with playoff experience, despite fully knowing Hellebuyck struggled in the playoffs.

When we grabbed Comrie, I brought up the fact that the very scenario we find ourselves in now could happen. And I was dumbfounded by the signing. Felt Bucky needed better support in case he didnt showup for this years playoffs. I got chastised for it.

Other than hurting Helle’s ego , how could starting Comrie be any worse?

Helle is supposed to be a Vezina trophy winner. He is, because the voting is done before regular season ends, but if he is the best goaltender in the league, he should definitely be able to perform when it counts, in the playoffs. He needs to overcome this mental block he has, and I think he will.

In my opinion he should not be considered for the Hart trophy, until he shows he can perform when it counts- in the playoffs.

Also you can’t blame this loss all on Helle, as the team really gave up, and didn’t keep up the intensity. We will need our depth players like Perfetti, Nino, and the others to start scoring. We’ll also need production from the back end like Morrissey and Pionk.

The Jets all have to look at themselves in the mirror, and give a 100% effort in the next 2 games.

They’ve blown us away these last 2 games - we have to get our act together, and fast.

Relax everyone it's all part of Chipman's master plan to get revenue from 4 home games, his plan requires them doing this all the way to the Stanley Cup final.

That is taking too much risk when you could sacrifice one home game and get a potential of many more if you increase the chances of playing one or two more series.

Be physical and borderline dirty against Scheifele
Shoot high oh Hellebuyck
Get the puck high since Jets forwards cannot block shots
Isolate and overload Schenn and/or Stanley

If 55is going to be furious, it should start with a look in the mirror. He knew there was going to be a physical response against him going on the road, and as always this seems to crater our team

The Jets are great when they can play their type of game, but they can’t do that when they’re always looking over their shoulders to make sure that their head isn’t taken off.

Had we faced any other team in the first round I think we would have been fine but this blues team definitely knows how to beat us into submission.

The issue is with our injuries we have two bottom 6 players on line 2, and 2 fourth line players on line 3. Looks like Chevy needed to bring in another forward capable of playing up the lineup in for depth at the deadline.
