This was a rare game because of how bifurcated it was. The Kings dictated the style of play for the first three periods, but then the Oilers took over for the tying third period goal as well as for overtime.

If we win the next game I think a bunch of us can start to believe a lot more. What a game, last game too.
We lost some depth and we didn’t address goaltending, but the big guns are legendary in the playoffs and that can take you all the way.
Despite losing some depth we do have Jeff Skinner, Stechers coming back too. Maybe later in the playoffs we could see Ekholm? Also I wouldn’t rule out Savoie getting a look if we go deeper, young legs and enthusiasm are a big plus when it’s deep in the playoffs and everyone is banged up and tired.
These guys know how to dig in and they don’t want to wait another year. Win the next one and take hold of this series
