But O was non-existent, STs were bad, D play weak, and overall getting physically pushed around.

Iafallo, Nino, Lowry... Tanev, Barron and Apples are tasked as 'diggers'

2nd line lost ALL of its speed when it lost Ehlers... that doesn't work in the playoffs - Perfetti's grit deserves better, he's busting his ass

Defencemen are all panicked - Pionk is back to his chaos game, Schenn/Fleury/Stan cant read the play fast enough and also blindly clear the puck, Samberg's pivots are still bad, Jomo is just 'off'... but again, this is NOT all on the D - the forwards especially the first line are cheating like crazy and there's no puck support

Scheif-Connor have to prove they are elite...

I'd get the line blender out... but I don't really have four lines that I think will work offhand - so not sure what works other than playing with grit.

I think it's worth a try with Barron at 2C. I know he doesn't have the hands of a 2C but Names has gone cold and Barron can be a net driver that Names likely can't.

Apple Kupari Vilardi 4th (or Names instead of kupari) makes a sneaky skilled 4th line. I like Kupari's speed and size though.

Make the second line Nino Bear Perfetti (adds speed and size) everyone is ice cold might as well try it.

This is Lowery's team. He's gonna have to step up. Scheifele too. Jomo is hurt, he's not able to play his game.

Exactly. Binnington is crap. Unfortunately, post season Helle has been bigger crap. He can't really be much worse the next 2 games, so I am going with Helle will be better.

Now, can we get Vilardi back so we have a real first line again?

If the Jets can get that PP back up and running with Vilardi it might make the Blues think twice about taking cheap shots at the them.
If you noticed the teams with the best ST are the ones winning games.

Good video - I like that he states the team is not out to blame one another - and that he needs to be better.
I would assume (and hope) you would get a similar interview from any of the players at this point.
They all need to be better - looking forward to the next one and I think we will see improvement

I'm glad Helle is owning his play. Gives my optimism they've discussed things and the team as a collective will come out and get it done.

Vilardi could have played yesterday according to Arniel's comments today so unless he gets hurt stepping out of the shower ... Vilardi is playing Wednesday.

I think you see a different team on Wednesday partly if Vilardi plays that resets the lines, and partly if there is a bug going thru the room more of the players should be feeling better, at least that's what I'm hoping.
