Otto Stenberg is going to be special but all three of these guys are going to be good

I wouldn’t leave out Pekarcik. He can really dish the puck.

Sweden has taken over this game. The only Slovakian line that can generate anything is the Dvorsky-Pekarcik line. Pekarcik had a decent scoring chance a few moments ago.

Double D is going to have to go super saiyan, Sweden was waaaay too much the entire 2nd and the scores gonna run up if Slovakia can’t stop it from opening up any more. Was like team caving in for shifts at a time. Tough matchup. Really good for Slovakia it’s a 1 goal game.

Dvorsky and Pekarcik were the only players who had any meaningful possession of the puck in the o-zone that period. So that's a plus, I suppose.

Every time I watch Sandin-Pellikka play he has a fantastic game. He's going to be a player.

STRONG drive to the net by Stenberg and he nearly tucks one five-hole with one hand.

I’m liking what I’m seeing from every Blues prospect. All 4 are some of the best players on the ice.

Sweden is skating circles around Slovakia. Stenberg looks good and dangerous. Lindstein looks steady, not trying to do too much. Dvorsky got the goal but hard to do much when your team is gettting slaughtered.

Is Kaskimaki that good of a skater? Hagelin and Duchene were both known for being super quick, I admittedly haven't seen much of Kaskimaki but didn't think he was super fast?

Is Kaskimaki that good of a skater? Hagelin and Duchene were both known for being super quick, I admittedly haven't seen much of Kaskimaki but didn't think he was super fast?

Best skater on his AHL team. Watching him catch people on the back check is a thing of beauty. I would like to see him with a Kyrou or Holloway. I think he could hang.

He’s got ice in his veins and incredible gap control which leads him to consistently separate himself from defensive pressure. Yet, he plays the conservative game so he can continue play as opposed to attack to finish it. He’s going to be a great player if he can attack after he separates himself.

I'd rather have the former skill than the latter in a young defenseman...that is much more transferrable to higher quality of competition. I'm not expecting a two-way powerhouse defenseman with the 29th overall pick. A solid, minute munching top 4 defenseman who can move the puck would be satisfactory to me if that was the finished product in 2028 & beyond. Some people get a little carried away with the expectations of non-premium draft picks.

Oh no doubt. He’s going to be a player and I can easily see him on the Blues blue line for years to come. He’s a player that can be a poised compliment to any partner if he continues developing like he is. He just happens to be a player I can see more from if he becomes more aggressive with his play style.
