30/30 player? What is Bolduc’s ceiling? Any good comps? He’s really impressing me with his overall play
I've had a hard time finding a good stylistic comparison. People have thrown out Perron's name, but that's moreso the French Canadian similarity than anything else. Either way, he seems to be finding a groove at this point in the season and may play his way into a top 6 role next season if he continues to uptrend. I've been entertaining him as a trade chip since I'm not entirely sold he fits the prototypical, hard-nosed Blues player, but I'd like to see what Snuggerud looks like at the NHL level first. Assuming we keep Kyrou long term, we can't play Zach and Jimmy as RW in the top 6 at the same time. There's not enough room. At the same time, we could really use their trade value to acquire a young RHD (i.e. Nemec) if the opportunity is there. What is Bolduc’s ceiling? Any good comps? I know the Dizee would be on board, but if Bolduc does keep developing, i honestly wouldnt mind moving Kyrou in the offseason b4 his NTC kicks in. Not to get him off the team, but to get a big return on hopefully a young top 4 D coming back. I actually like Bolduc's style more going forward than Kyrou's so long as he stays on his current trajectory. Kyrou should hold good/better value with his production and AAV. Although we all prefer RD, i still wouldn't mind Buffalo taking our call in the offseason for one of their big 3.I've had a hard time finding a good stylistic comparison. Same. I posted that it’s hard for me to type Bolduc, so @Xerloris recommended that I simply type Boldy and that seems to have worked.I've had a hard time finding a good stylistic comparison. Debrusk is the closest comp to style. And is probably a decent line for production. What is Bolduc’s ceiling? Any good comps? He’s really impressing me with his overall play
That would be awesome but I’d be pleasantly surprised if he ends up that good. Then again, Holloway has been better than expected so who knows what the future holds.I think Holloway is a great mentor for Bolduc and they’ve got some similar traits. I’d be happy with another Hollowman.

I see him peaking a smidge below what Perron was for us. Doesn’t quite have Perron’s feistiness but the other elements are there. And hopefully not as many offensive zone penalties too lol!
Player he reminds me of is Scott Young. He had good wheels solid all around game. Hopefully, he can find the net as often as Scott did. For me, he is a good comparable.I thought Perron too, but now I'm not so sure (yes, the French Canadian thing probably influenced my comp). Bolduc's game seems to be based more on speed and a quick strike attack, whereas Perron was better at working down low and keeping possession. I'm not sure I can recall ever seeing Perron score on a breakaway, though he probably did at some point.
Not sure he'll reach Perron's overall level, but I'm starting to see the differences between them. Honestly I'm not sure who an accurate comp would be so I'm not even gonna try and guess. Still unsure about Bolduc's offensive potential, but if he can keep crashing the boards and round out his other skills then he'll be a very useful middle six player. People complained about him being on the third line, but they finally seem to be clicking right now.
This is a good comp. Saad is silky smooth, as is Bolduc. I think he will out-produce Perron.I’ve always thought Saad with a better shot.
The thing with Otto is he doesn’t have to score to be a benefit to your team. Even at his size, he plays very solid defense and should have a lot of assists. Every game he is setting guys up that don’t finish. He is a very smart player that makes few mistakes.Stat watching (haven't seen any games) looks like Otto and Dvo both have slowed down over the last 5-10 games.
