Any goalie can pull a shutout out of nowhere on any given night. Good players = better games :dunno:
Hot goalies = higher chance of Rangers getting an L

Let’s put it this way. I can technically get a shutout against the Rangers, and I’ve only played street hockey for a year or two. Of course anything is possible and any goalie can get a shutout on any given night, but there’s such a thing as odds. And I like our odds against an AHL goalie rather than one of the hottest goalies in the league. I don’t mind playing good players, but I hate getting shut out more.

Also, would you be fine with the Rangers playing an all-star team every game of the season? I just don’t understand your logic.

In the playoffs, aren’t most fans happy when a star player on the other team is injured?

Well, this season isn't about winning for me

Rangers are actually doing a good job getting thru the neutral zone which I’m sure torts is not going to be happy about but we’re passing up on a lot of shots or missing wide. Not a whole lot Columbus is doing to bother us other than slow the game down. Thing is when you have guys like Tony and Fox out there they’ll carve u up and find guys. We just need to play the same way here. Stay patient but get pucks to the net stop passing them up.

We actually look like a Playoff caliber team

which is amazing considering how disastrous I thought we were on the West Coast triopp

In the playoffs, sure yeah. We aren't in the playoffs.

I'm a hockey fan, and the Rangers are my favorite team. I enjoy watching players who are good at hockey and watching good hockey games. If the Rangers lose due to an outstanding performance from the other team, that's cool, at least I enjoyed the last 2 hours. That's just my preference.

Hope you guys got to see valiquette discuss Shesterkin’s glove positioning. I love it. I’ve played that way for a few years now and it just for me has always felt like I can take away so much more that way especially shots by the ears and in tight. Shesterkin does it so well. The idea is obviously taking away those high shots but the other part he didn’t mention was just gravity. It’s faster dropping your hand to make a save instead of raising it. These are things younger goalies are mastering From day one that older goalies just still struggle with. Also watch the kid move around when his knees are down he’s so smooth. He can move in half circles really well too. He is a pleasure to watch.

Kreider, while nice..Is a bit of a weirdo to me lol
There has "got to be" a whole lot more underneath what we see. I just know it. Totally agree, he is quite the bit of a weirdo as we know it.
If he indeed is traded, with what all he brings, I will MISS his monster face after he scores that goal or makes an awesome pass. He is nutso, and it takes one to know one.

I’m surprised that they went back to the large logo on the floor of the locker room.
I remember when Tortorella was there it was reported that he had them make the logo smaller so the players wouldn’t walk on it.

My preference is winning first, and an enjoyable game a close 2nd. Agree to disagree.

oh I’m all about it. I’ve said trade Strome during the off-season if anything. I think he’s going to price himself out anyway. But he’s an rfa no need to trade him at the deadline. Let that whole line simmer.

He's been a good soldier but I think he has to prove a bit more before he prices himself out..

Yeah I mean I'm not trying to convert you to my viewpoint or anything, you asked a question and I answered.
Yea. Also, that wasn’t the disagreement. The original disagreement was about goalies, not about all skaters. Which I consider different.
