He has found his home with the Montreal Minuses and now he can score all the PP goals he wants get smoked 5v5 and never make the playoffs until he gets run out of town

C'EST LA VIE
I wasn't shocked, but holy God were they hemmed in when Laine was on the ice last night. Then he runs away and Montreal wakes up lol. That's a theme for him.

Dude reminds me of my older brother on the spectrum, can seem like a genuine normal person then opens up is mouth and your like really that’s what your going to go with.

Also I don’t think that giving him a bigger platform to share is going to help is situation at all.

Feel bad for Columbus fans , oh well wish you all happy holidays.

It's a fact that Columbus is a losing organization. They end up being the last in the division every single season.
And while he was in Columbus, Montreal had a worse record than Columbus, yet he chose them and nixed a trade to Minnesota. It wasn't about going to winning organization, it was going to a team that would put him in the spotlight.
"Star" players like Laine were a big reason why
Exactly. Instead of stepping up and being THE guy like he wants, he backed down and asked to be traded. He can talk all the shit he wants, but when you barely play half of your contracted games it doesn't give you much room to do so.

Also surprised this wasn't posted yet.

I really want to like Laine but he makes it hard to sometimes. It's easy to support Columbus, however. I looked it up out of curiosity and found out Montreal has 8 more losses over the last 5 years than Columbus lol

Guy needs a trade to Toronto where his values of personal entitlement and lack of accountability towards results would make him just another well-paid actor in a performance of perpetual mediocrity.
not surprised your still thinking of Toronto even in a thread that has nothing to do with us. basically telling us your obsessed with the Leafs without having to say it

"Player gives less-than-positive impression about previous franchise, while in town with new franchise. More at 11, with this never-before-seen story." :scared:

One would assume his new team was actually doing better when he made those comments though. Apparently Laine hasn't checked the standings lately.

This is the kind of attention he shouldn't be bringing into himself but he doesn't seem to be the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Ironically, he's in Montreal, a team that had space for a bad contract like he has and a team currently tanking LOL

It's also fun he claims he wants to win but also allegedly blocked a trade to Minnesota, a team significantly better than Columbus or Montreal currently
