Yes. For about 10 minutes from the start of the second period, they were dominant.
I’m super excited about Blake, he’s get serious first line winger potential. Needs to get stronger and a ways to go to get there but he just looks like he belongs to me. In a different way, but reminds me of Jarvis his rookie year. Hope he and Aho can continue to develop that chemistry and play together long term

It was a very up and down game for him. His failure to clear set up Columbus’ first goal. He lost the fight in front for Columbus’ 3rd (not that he should be the guy defending in front anyway, but…) And he took a penalty in the 3rd that was a sell job, but one that he can’t give the opportunity for the officials to call.

But offensively, he looked much more confident and comfortable.

Yeah not surprising, I think he’ll get better there but won’t be a top tier 200 foot player like Jarvis. I think his offensive potential is higher though

I just know Svech's trash talk is so bitchy and disrespectful.
When I saw him on the bench talking to a teammate right after his scrum with a Columbus player, I figured the exchange was:

"What's with that guy Svechy?"

*with heavy Russian accent* "I don't know man. That guy's a p***y."

One thing I thought was great tonight was that Jarvis had a 4 point night, Aho with 3, but the team decided Ghost becoming a dad was the most important thing and mobbed him during the surge.

And Freddie’s 300th win too
If I have the choice on congrats on the good game, congrats on the milestone, or congrats on the sex, I know which one I'm choosing.

Missed this one, can’t say I had 7-4 on my bingo card but glad to see we got the W. Did Blake and Aho line look as good as their stat lines suggest?
Better. But mostly Jarvis.

What happened to Svech there? I just saw him doubled over.

Jackson Blake has found some new legs. Good line tinkering by Rod. I can't say I would have thought to put him on the first line. I thought for sure he had hit that rookie wall, but he looks engaged and is making things happen. Every game he has at least 2 plays where it looks like he's for sure going to score a goal. The one goal he scored was really soft by Tarasov, but he also could have scored another, and Tarasov was absolutely bailing Columbus out left and right. (Going into this year,) I really thought their defense was better.

This game was not as close as the score indicated. They got really fortunate with their goals, scoring on seemingly every meaningful chance they had and then some. Hockey is a sport of bounces and the bounces went in their favor for the most part. I'll take it as we got really lucky in my opinion against Dallas the other night.

Wonder if we will end up making an acquisition. I think we will, but I don't expect a big game hunting type move. Robinson and Roslovic have been way better than imagined this year. We really don't need to do anything, which is an ideal place to be in at this time of year. We keep talking about forwards, but I do hope we snag a 7D for the inevitable injury. I don't want to see any Ty Smith in the playoffs.

This group can win in the playoffs. I’m not saying they will win, but they have it in them. It’s a question of injuries, matchups, goaltending, and luck.
