Yeah they've been getting good goaltending, they've also put up more goals in this game than we did in 2 games where we had the opportunity to clinch combined.

Your argument as to why we don't deserve it is because we can choke a couple games away but the Jackets were in the driving seat for most of the year and they choked it away, we aren't shooting much but neither are the Jackets, and are getting quality goaltending which is what the Jackets are getting. Tonight is their first time not facing a backup/AHLer in a while and they were thoroughly outplayed.

If Columbus keeps playing like this and Montreal keeps playing how they have in games that define whether or not they make the playoffs, then yes we deserve it less.

We are 2-1-1 in the last 4 how is it chocking? Some of you guys need to temper your expectation. No team win 100% of their game. We are 6-1-1 in the last 8 games.

While I sometimes deviate, I'm usually of the opinion that marginal opinions don't really deserve much attention. We can talk about choking it away if they lose the next two. But it's premature still. They had something like 7 games in 12 days, beat the defending cup champs twice and lost against Ottawa and Toronto, which I expected to be honest. People talk about goaltending, but at the same time there were periods this year where the goaltending was utter garbage. As the second youngest team in the league, it's completely expected for them to be inconsistent and also have issues dealing with better, more experienced teams gearing up for the playoffs. Most of the complaints I'm seeing are also about a fourth liner and a 6th D, which is crazy when you think about it.
