"Distinct kicking motion" in Jets / Stars game

Good goal it was called goal on the ice and very subjective if it was a true kicking motion.

If they called no goal on the ice you then say no goal for same reason.

There is no such thing as the goalie propelling it in to your own net, after a puck was kicked. Somebody help me find that in the rulebook. This was a mistake. It shouldnt have counted and gave Dallas the win.

Dallas scored two further goals and Winnipeg scored none. Without the goal, Dallas wins 4-2.

I don’t think he even made a kicking motion to begin with. Looked more like he just angled his skate. Doesn’t matter. Would have been 4-2 if it was ruled no goal.
I agree. Regular season in a game the former ref analyst, in a similar situation, pointed out that angling the skate is not an issue. You have to actually make an obvious kicking motion at the puck in an attempt to kick it in the net. That didn't happen in the case in today's game. He clearly changed the angle of his skates without kicking the puck.

everyone knows hellebuyck can't handle the puck on his stick and the puck wasn't going in without hellebuyck misplaying it

jets don't have a leg to stand on here despite arniel whining in the presser

No it doesn't it just needs to be going towards the net, otherwise blocker or glove saves that were going wide wouldn't be considered saves either.
So a goalie who is out of a crease on a puck shot in from blue and attempts to play it with his stick to shoot it to the corner is a shot goal? Who knew.
