Good thing we had a Granlund at home!As everyone predicted, Granlund coming up clutch when it matters most.
Not our GranlundA Granlund hat trick, seriously?
Going from Blake to Holland
LMAO
Too bad. I wanted Granlund as a stop gap C(even if he is more a winger now) so we don’t have to trade Willander or our first. Probably way too pricey now
I’m totally fine with the Leafs winning the cup. They won’t. But I sure as hell rather them be in the finals than Florida. What a f***ing miserable post-season. Just at least make sure the Leafs don't advance.
The Jets have been playing well for the most part, but when Helle keeps letting in at least one big softie against an elite team with an elite goalie it's hard to fight back. What should've been 50-50 games have all been comfortable Stars wins because of it.I suppose there's a chance the Jets can recover from a 1-3 hole and move on. But unless Hellebucyk finds a way to exorcise his demons on the road, then it's unlikely.
I don't know what it is in the 'Peg, but they seem to shoot their bolt in the regular season. And when the intensity and speed gets ramped up in the playoffs, they can't find a way to match it.
Just goes to show the massive difference between the hockey you see in the regular season what we're seeing now as the playoffs inch towards the conference finals.
Maybe the Jets catch a lot of tired teams during the regular season, who finish in Winnipeg at the end of long road-trips. That's certainly the case with the Canucks, who always seem to hit the 'Peg at the tail-end of a five or six game road-trip.
But last year against the Av's and this year against the playoff-hardened Stars, they just seem a step behind.
Of course not. Canucks aren't allowed to have nice things. No way we would get the good Granlund. Not our Granlund
Always remember, this franchise had a Kariya, Fedorov and Pronger in the early 2000's.Of course not. Canucks aren't allowed to have nice things. No way we would get the good Granlund.
And boy or boy is Hellebuyck letting in some questionable goals. Seems like the first Granlund goal has been scored on him a half dozen times this post-season. Goaltending can't win you a cup but it sure as hell can lose it for you.
Just wow.
- 0.851 SV% through 11 games
- less than 3 goals given up twice
- more than 3 goals given up 4 times
- 2 games with SV% over 0.900
- 9 games under 0.900
- 6 games under 0.850
- 3 games under 0.800
