I think DOC's probably like, a decent 3rd liner or good 4th liner at the NHL level. Just doesn't have the on ice IQ or puck skills to work on a legit scoring line imo, even as a puck hound third wheel type.

Weird because some folks argued with me all summer about having him penciled in as the 1LW not being an issue.

Apparently a hot 15 game stretch to end the season is more indicative of a player's upside than basically watching his entire career and seeing what he does well/poorly.

I think Doc would be OK as a third wheel on a scoring line if the other winger was like Guentzel or something. But Doc plus a non elite winger won't work. It'd be li

I think they should probably trade Nedjelkovic for whatever they can get for him (probably like a 3rd) and run with Jarry and Blomqvist as their goalies.

Unless you get something real for someone, you run 3 goalies. Honestly don’t trust Jarry anymore.

I’m hoping he regains form enough to have positive value in a trade. Use that 5M to upgrade the D.

As for the game…
my take:
+ team game.
+ we love the caps
+ luv Blomq and Ned
+ Geno with a big smile
+ Ovie with a big frown

- we again, almost gave it up, if it wasn’t for Blomq standing on his head late in the 3rd

- frustrating to see we can be competitive, just not often enough

Didn't even notice Ovie was playing. Honestly surprised at how he has so many goals this year. Both Sid and Geno have slowed down with age, but both of them are still able to drive possession. Ovie is the ultimate passenger now.
