Drakes back

Lacklustre in Edmonton in his initial 2 1/2 years, then continues his up and down AHL/NHL career with stops in Arizona, Buffalo, Chicago and Pittsburgh, where he couldn’t find an NHL niche role on very weak rosters. It’s actually embarrassing to see him called up to an Oiler Club that aspires to be something. Org is scraping bottom.

Dermott on the 2nd pair....View attachment 923959
It's clear that for the most part, Dermott, Stetcher, and Emberson have all struggled to start the season. Gleason looked really good for 2 camps in a row, he's 25 or 26, why not give him a shot? I know he's a Lefty, but so what, Dermott has played both sides, so has Nurse, so has Kulak. I just don't see the harm in trying out Gleason. He's a bit of a long shot as well, but it's worth a shot, I doubt he's worse than what they've been rolling out so far. Even Dineen, try these guys out, it doesn't look like a trade is happening any time soon, let's see if any of the guys in Bako can play. Send Dermott down, and try one of Gleason or Dineen out.

2 straight years Gleason has had a great camp. Like you say try him out.

Hey, there might be kids watching in the background as some of us open this up to look at. Quit trying to scare the shit out of them!

Put that block of ice back in the freezer. I really dislike that singer and her Christmas catalogue.

Poor Leon.
You're starting to sound like someone else on here with comments like that, lol

Yes, indeed, only plays with the greatest player in the world for most of his career, and will be making 14 mill next year after lots of year ONLY making 8 mill. And has a hot fiance to boot. Poor, indeed!

Don't send Dermott down. Fire him into the sun so he can't be recalled again!

I think I know what you mean.

My point though, his financial and love life aside (which means nothing to what I was referring to), is that he seems to always get the second rate wingers and even now with 97 out, it appears he’s getting the B group, as the #1 center. Odd that Hyman who has exclusively played #1 line and Skinner who have been playing on the #1 line with Connor off and on, are now playing second line with Nuge.

All in all though, this line up looks so cold and shitty, it probably doesn’t matter who his wingers are really at the end of the day.
