My thoughts, too. Blake being fired with Luc, Bergevin, etc. sticking around is a worst outcome, especially if Blake was the only one pushing back on moves like PLD.

Hiller may be next, but if I could only choose one person to be fired this year, it would be Robitaille - or at least kicked upstairs and locked in the attic where he isn't impacting hockey decisions anymore. (Let him go back to the community outreach and marketing stuff.) GMs and coaches are more easily and regularly replaced, but if he's still here we're all villagers living in the spooky shadow of Dracula's castle.

The smart move would have been to bring a hockey consultant who has experience building competitive playoff teams and have them evaluate and bring in new Gm, but Lucs ego would never allow that

I’m actually a bit pissed that he was allowed to rip off the C again (so to speak) and walk out on his own. I wanted a firing. I wanted humiliation. I wanted answers for all the stupid moves that were made during his tenure. Honestly, though, I wanted ALL of them fired at the same time. The fact that Luc is still here scares the hell out of me because I don’t know if the light at the end of the tunnel is daylight or a train.

this is my exact fear. Rumors Bergeron was being looked at by the Islanders last week. Hope that didn't put pressure on this org to try and retain him at all costs.

Blake was the devil we knew. Blake also had a great offseason and trade deadline with the exception of another horrible coaching pick. I was hoping that would continue.

Luc is just a blundering idiot. He went from being talked about as a Legend to a dark stain on this franchise. Not all hockey players should wear suits when finished, He had the qualifications to be a meet and greet guy, not a President.

Hiller is a great assistant coach. Smart, players seem to like him, great ideas, but as a head coach he has never gained my confidence. But the L.A Kings have never heard of me so I can yell at the clouds as loud as I want and no one is listening.
