Just got the notice. Depends on other steps they take as things cannot remain with Luc and if they turn around and install Marc Bergevin they are going to have a riot on their hands, but at the very least they didn't immediately start a riot by keeping Blake which would have been the most blatantly insulting thing they could have done to the fanbase in my opinion.

The only way this might work is Luc brings in someone from outside the organization with new ideas and a new philosophy. Maybe someone from Tampa Mathieu Darche or Carolina, Dallas.
Luc has to know he isnt going to another chance hiring another buddy and it turns out same way

I have a hard time believing any reputable candidate with upside is going to sign up for this job if the talk about Luc and higher ups meddling with everything are true. I’m guessing that’s why Hiller got the coaching job in the first place. I hope I’m wrong but I’ve said all along that Emerson is their logical next man up and nothing will change.

I disagree, there are only 32 of these jobs and I would call Mathieu Darche, but I think I would for sure look outside the organization, Emerson is a Blake disciple, so I dont think Luc for his own safety would not do that.

Hopefully BargainBin gets the job with the Islanders and he isn't even considered. If that PoS is the GM for the Kings that will be the decision that pushes me away and I'll just enjoy other hockey until he's gone. Just not a good human being and I can't rationalize cheering for a team that employs him in any major compacity.
