Pre-Game Talk: Blackhawks vs. Kings: Game 3 @ Staples Center

I think all that means PK Subban and Drew Doughty are joshing around on twitter. Hard to tell though.

I like The Sporting House (used to be an ESPN zone) at NYNY. The set up is nice, it's never too crowded, the drinks are good. I think it's 15 minimum an hour to sit in the stadium area (best seats).

Also Lagasse's at the Palazzo. Food is excellent, screens are big and plentiful, atmosphere is pleasant. It's 50 minimum to sit though.
 
I'm really hoping the Kings can get out and attack Crawford early. He looked pretty shaken up after giving up 5 last game. Get one early and plant that seed of doubt in his head!!!!

Seems like this game is never getting here. Can't wait for the puck to drop.

So glad to see at practice today the WrecK ing line was kept together. I thought Williams Richards and King did a solid job and esp kept the pressure on in the Hawks zone. Provided a ton of heart, grit and engery and some solid scoring chances. MR amd JW work well together and it gives MR somebody with top 6 instincts ,IQ and skill to dish to.

Apparently all the Kings goals were flukey, had help from the refs, and the Hawks just gave. Cuz there's no way the Kings can beat the mighty Hawks.

Chicago will start strong so the Kings need to be prepared, play defense and protect home ice.

The wait for the game is killing me too, but I just keep thinking back to how I felt after Game 3 vs SJ, and how badly I just wanted to see my team play more hockey. Since then, everyday that I know the Kings are still in it has been sweet.

Last game turned the tide though. The Hawks represented this unsurmountable obstacle to us, perhaps just because they are the only team that has constantly outperformed us over recent years, maybe because of last year's exit... but that last win was so decisive, and Game 1 was within grasp. This year just went from "Thank God we made it all the way here" to "OMFG we might actually be doing this all the way" to me. So exciting. Looking forward to the Kings stepping up all the way and showing everyone watching that not only can we play at their level, we can take it one step further.
