Just mention everyone sucking then, if you're gonna jump the 19 year olds throat first. The team leaders should probably take some responsibility? The D is succ, Poolman is way out of his league. I'm not even trying to claim that Patty is playing well, because he isn't, but holy f*** if the success of this team hangs on a 19 year old winger then good luck and good night.
This team isn't the Winnipeg Laine's, remember?

Laine has been bad tonight. It's an obvious fact to everyone who even tries to be objective, not a witch hunt or what ever some of you thinks.
3rd line so far best tonight. Playing at their level.

I wonder if a good chunk of the team is under the weather. Dano took the opening skate. It may partially explain the extreme poor play.
Not to stir the pot, and certainly not to place the blame for tonight on Laine because it takes a team effort to s#!t the bed this hard, but do all you Laine fan boys truly believe that the way he has been playing this year is correct? Is the style he seems to have adopted the optimal way to help out the team? Is he just being screwed over by the "perverted" coach who won't play him on the top line (even though apparently the top line is selfish, takes too many penalties, and stays on the ice too long)?
Because if you do believe all that, then you are wrong. Laine's goal total at the end of the year doesn't matter, what matters is the number of team wins. Of course goals help that happen, but when you do all the other things like defence, back-checking, hard fore-checking, and good board work then the goals will come.

He shows zero flashes of brilliance when stick handling, he constantly loses board battles, he regularly fails to clear the defensive zone, and opposing players constantly blow by him. He needs to get on board and take some lessons from the hard working players in the room. He has an amazing shot, but it takes more than that to be a star.

Probably because we've all seen Laine dominate, and wish that he would snap back into form. He has his share of goals this season, but he has not looked like dominant Laine for most of the season.
God I want Laine to get back to form.
My thoughts as well. looks like their energy has been sapped. Having said that, hope they come out kicking in the third

When even Lowry's line is struggling, a bag skate is bound to happen. Honestly - this might just be a reincarnation of the Colorado game of the last February. Aside from Morrissey and Trouba, there is not a single unit that has shown any promise tonight.
I'm not sure that I ever wrote the word 'guarantee', that would have been silly!
