Laine is not the reason that we are losing right now. Having said that, Laine has not been good for a couple of games now. The dude needs to really work on his d-zone game... lately he can't clear the puck and is a turnover machine. Needs to play a bit more of a straight line game, less cute stuff.

There are more problems out there tonight than just Wheeler being off

This team has plenty of talent to compete every night.
The Captain has to take responsibility on hold teammates accountable for poor efforts. Its happening way too often.
Wheeler is a talented player putting up good numbers, but he is a terrible leader (much like Ladd).
It was a huge mistake naming him captain. Now the Jets are stuck with him as the captain.

You turned a blind eye to every ****-up that caused a goal and said Laine has sucked before he even made the turnovers. Thats the timeline. You have an agenda. You did definitely turn a blind eye on all other mistakes that were worse and singled out a player who hasn't caused any goals this game.

Did I? I'm pretty sure I did not, as shown by my post that criticized Myers' play on the first goal, my general shot at our RHDs and the one at our depth. But whatever, dude. We'll probably see Laine make a good play at his own end before we'll see an objective take on this team's play from you.
