He already in a equal like Dzone usage to Hjammer has shown he can play well and lead his team D pretty well in comparable corsi and matchup roles.

Connor Murphy has 3.85M cap hit for next 5 years

No cap savings with this move , No high quality asset , , What a joke

No cap savings... right now. This move looks a lot better in two years when Hammer would have walked as a UFA and instead we still have Murphy in his prime for 3 more years at 3.85. I get the thinking behind it, I just think we should have held out for a better sweetener.

Literally the only way this makes sense is if they think that Hammer's about to fall off a cliff, but even then I would've hoped for a better return.

Will miss Hammer.

This offseason has not been for the faint of heart.

Will try to evaluate the players we got back a little more sometime later.

Terrible trade. Stanley supports have no leg to stand on in regards to this trade.

What a **** trade. Stan has been very poor at his job since the last Cup win. That Seabrook deal is just a killer on all fronts.

Almost everyone that I trust that knows about hockey likes or at least doesn't hate the Hammer trade
