That dude is the ultimate garbage goal scorer. Game easily in hand for a Pens win? You know Hayes is grabbing a goal in that scenario.Kevin Hayes raising that offseason trade stock.

Plus, it's much easier to trade Nedeljkovic since he's cheap, and will be on an expiring deal.I've mentioned this in the salary cap thread once or twice, but Jarry's end of season performance makes me more inclined to keep him for next year and move on from Nedjelkovic instead.
This isn't because I think Jarry is good, but trading Jarry is a preferable option to buying him out. I think they're better off hoping Jarry has a good half year and you can trade him with retention over just defaulting to buying him out. And if he sucks, good news it helps your draft pick.
I don't want either Nedjelkovic or Jarry here when this team is ready to compete again, but trading Nedjelkovic in the off-season for a 3rd/4th and seeing if Jarry can play himself into being tradeable seems to be the best option with their goalies. As soon as both are gone, run with Murashov and Blomqvist in the NHL.
I don't care if Jarry is still on the team next year because the Pens have no business trying to compete next year and I'll be mad if they do unless something weird happens (Marner signing, etc). So yeah sure let TJ be the tank commander.I've mentioned this in the salary cap thread once or twice, but Jarry's end of season performance makes me more inclined to keep him for next year and move on from Nedjelkovic instead.

Yep, we can still accrue 82 points. I wouldn't assume any team is safe that is under that number.ugh 2 terrible points
Tank commander? Did he look like he's been trying to tank of late?I don't care if Jarry is still on the team next year because the Pens have no business trying to compete next year and I'll be mad if they do unless something weird happens (Marner signing, etc). But he needs to be gone the year after that even if it's via buyout, because Murashov should be ready by then and so should Blomqvist.
Nobody has ever stepped up more when the stakes are low.Tank commander? Did he look like he's been trying to tank of late?
And yet that slob of a coach continues to trot him out there nearly every game. Not even rotating them. It's kinda sick you don't want to get a good draft pick. I just don't understand going balls to the wall at this point.Nobody has ever stepped up more when the stakes are low.

It'd be nice to lose out and seems like a realistic possibility given the teams we're playing. Though I guess the Caps might decide to rest their guys against us.That game against the Bruins is gonna be huge. I hope Pastrnak has one for the ages, but Bostson's been f***in' awful lately.
With the Bruins beating the Devils tonight hopefully Jersey beats the penguins on Friday night. That game against the Bruins is gonna be huge. I hope Pastrnak has one for the ages, but Bostson's been f***in' awful lately.
Let's hope so. We need the Ducks and Rangers to win tomorrow. We don't want the Rags to be competing with us in the lottery somehow. As it stands now the key is to get every team to 82 points until we lose. That's as much as we can accrue. I believe in most if not all cases we'd lose the tie breaker. With the Bruins beating the Devils tonight hopefully Jersey beats the penguins on Friday night.
100% agreement. The Ducks did beat the Oilers last night hopefully they can do it again tomorrow night at the Flames. They lost to the Flames last weekend so hopefully it's a revenge game. The rangers should beat the Flyers too. I think and hope the penguins loss at least two out of their three games left in the season.Let's hope so. We need the Ducks and Rangers to win tomorrow. Going to be disappointed. Flames are fighting for a playoff spot and last weeks game wasnt close.100% agreement. Per Seth Rorabaugh:
McGroarty was spotted leaving the team's facilities at the arena in a walking boot.![]()
Pretty f***in' funny to see the Isles go up 6-4 with like 3:30 left in the 3rd but lose 7-6.![]()
I know who will be next Koivunen?Hopefully the reason Sullivan was “pulled into a meeting” after the game and Quinn had to do the presser, was that someone was canning him for putting McG in the line of fire!
