If the Pens thought this game meant something they would have lost.
Hayes trying hard to rise above the Sullification of his career this year to hopefully be wanted by anyone, literally anyone else.Kevin Hayes raising that offseason trade stock.
But to them it's like winning game seven of the cup finals.Beating the Hawks kinda feels like beating a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest
It's funny that the one legged wanker beat the shit out of the Pens a few days ago lol.Beating the Hawks kinda feels like beating a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest
He played 6:49 in the third, more than any other period. But he hasn't taken a shift in the final 4 minutes. Top line took those minutes off.Not much Koivunen in the 3rd...or am I crazy?
Two more years 3.55 mil per.Time to sign Hayes to an extension
How else would he watch Nieto and Acciari? It’s the two Mike Sullivan told him to watch and emulate. He played 6:49 in the third, more than any other period. But he hasn't taken a shift in the final 4 minutes. Top line took those minutes off.

Koivunen played 18:14 tonight. Only Crosby and Rust played more. How else would he watch Nieto and Acciari? It’s the two Mike Sullivan told him to watch and emulate.
You take things too literal mate. At this point me even knowing who was dressed is a miracle for how little I give a f*** about the team. It’s the only thing I have in common with Fsg I guess.Koivunen played 18:14 tonight. Only Crosby and Rust played more.
McGroarty played 11:45 and missed the entire third period.
There is no reason to complain about the ice time and opportunities those two have received.
Missed opportunity here. Got pretty lucky that a few teams around them in the standings are also winning but I mean, you don't wanna be treading water. You wanna be gaining ground on that top 4 or 5 pick. Feels close to out of reach with these two points tbh.
Firing Chiodo should be top priority when it comes to anyone to do with the goalies on this team. Also re-signing Ned was always a dumb f*** idea by Dubas last summer. I wanted Larsson to be the starter and rotate Murashov and Blom. But then we saw Chiodo f***ing up all 3 that played this year.I've mentioned this in the salary cap thread once or twice, but Jarry's end of season performance makes me more inclined to keep him for next year and move on from Nedjelkovic instead.
This isn't because I think Jarry is good, but trading Jarry is a preferable option to buying him out. I think they're better off hoping Jarry has a good half year and you can trade him with retention over just defaulting to buying him out. And if he sucks, good news it helps your draft pick.
I don't want either Nedjelkovic or Jarry here when this team is ready to compete again, but trading Nedjelkovic in the off-season for a 3rd/4th and seeing if Jarry can play himself into being tradeable seems to be the best option with their goalies. As soon as both are gone, run with Murashov and Blomqvist in the NHL.
