Koivunen and McG both looking very good with Sid. Shame we can't clone #87... and also somehow make him 25 again.

Give him the same quality linemates the other top leading scorers in the league have and he’s right up there with them still competing for a scoring title. He’s had a hell of a season regardless of age.

Not sure it's even a linemate thing. If he was better on the powerplay, he'd be right there with them. Nate Mack, Drai, McDavid, Kucherov all absolutely FEAST on the pp.

Quite literally the only scenario that makes me think “if they win for this reason, I’m not mad.” This stretch the young guys are on is going to do wonders for their development and of course, Sid climbing the leaderboard is something I’ll never complain about.

Sad to see because Geno's always been my favorite player, but I don't think it's a coincidence that Koivunen all of a sudden takes off as soon as he's put with Sid.

I disagree. Malkin has been fine this game. He's not peak Malkin, but he's also suffered a lot more injuries and is older than Sid.
