Do you know what's so refreshing about Amazon? They actually praise the Leafs and their individual players. Cbc / sportsnet does the complete opposite. They spend the focus on the other team and their players. Top it off with Hughson being elated when the visitors score.
A few years ago I uused to listen to the away teams radio broadcast, they almost always said a couple of positive things about our players. Something our tv broadcast seldom does

Matthews has been cross checking dudes tonight! ;)
This is the problem that people don't want to acknowledge. He took a pretty tough hit after coming back from missing 7 games. He has to stand up for himself of course, but it would be nice if a guy like Reaves could handle the problem and/or discourage such problems.

Knies gets hit with what I believe was a dirty hit, Matthews take a bit of a late, awkward hit.

When certain players are in the other team is a little less passionate with their checking. It's just the reality for this team and it will get far more pronounced in the playoffs for at least the first coupel of games.

Everyone is talking about center depth..I think we need another d man. McCabe goes down and suddenly our defence sucks - granted some of our D’s are not having good games (same as last game) but still

Yeah Timmins is pretty good so far and Benoit is generally good, but neither are MUST play in a playoff series. Ideally, another top 4 quality guy to push one of them out and give us real depth.
