As I said yesterday the flyers are going to 150% get a goalie this offseason....which is going to be a horrible pick...whomever it is. If Fedotovs contract = Michkovs escape money, I get it...but this guy cannot be in the nhl next year.

The avatar i've been using all season illustrates Torts thoughts on the goalies, and if he's coming back next season - it aint gonna be what we have now.

This team needs so much, I don't think they even get close to the playoffs next year regardless of what they do in the offseason.

They need a #1C, #1D, #1G, #2C, #2D, #2G, and that aint all!

Cates is going to get paid, and it's going to be a mistake.

Hextall and Fletcher were horrible and this was a long time in the making. It remains to be seen if Briere is good but he finally got us to bottom out which is sorely needed. The worst thing he can do is make us mediocre again. The Flyers will have a replenished prospect pool after this draft and they should firmly be in the running for McKenna next year. A Michkov-McKenna-Martone line seems appealing and it’s tailor made for a nickname

York is average at best, Zamula is less than York, Risto injury prone, Sanheim isn't young anymore, who knows about Andrae and Drysy plays like a chicken with his head cut off .

TRY for a #1 AND #2 Dman for starters .....the rest takes care of itself

This is why I said it's tough to explain lol. I like him but I don't think his playmaking is as good as others do. I've also been burned too many times by guys with sus production/small samples like him . I think Bobby boy would take him with the first pick though.

Haven’t watched a second! I need to believe a defenseman has elite offense (60+ potential) to go top 3-5ish. Mandatory high end PP QB. I would’ve stayed far away from Levshunov in that range (or Reinbacher, Nemec, etc.). I don’t think Dickinson-type offense is that even now — my bar is high for good reason. Luke Hughes was my last checkmark.

Frondell is for sure the safest of him, Desnoyers and McQueen... unless something awful happens his floor should be a 2nd line winger with 50-60 points given the level he is playing at in a pro league.

But I can imagine them going with one of the other two if all three were on the board and they were picking say 5th...

Briere and Jonesy were not trying to bottom out, just like Fletcher wasn't in 2022-23.

But, but I thought the rebuild was nearly complete? LOL! They just need 1C 2C 1D 2D 1G, that's all? Easy peasy, right?

Briere has not 'finally got us to bottom out' he was trying to make the playoffs this year. An accidental tank is not the same as doing it with intent, while developing young players. Andrae and Lycksell should have been here all year, they are clearly NHL players. More Phantoms should be been brought up on rotation to see if any of them respond to better skill around them. There is no chance we're in the McKenna sweepstakes next year, they will try to make the playoffs again.
