I think Columbus is definitely interested in getting one if not both these guys and I wonder what Seattle is looking to get for them.

I am assuming Minnesota 1st is the piece that’s definitely going back.

Another top 9 winger is definitely needed even if they manage to get fully healthy. JVR has done admirably, but they can do better if they're really making a genuine playoff push. Bjorkstrand seems like a good fit until the end of next year then they'll hopefully have Brindley and Lindstrom in the lineup for 26-27.

Still another 3-4 weeks from Monahan and Gudbranson coming off of IR. And Chinakhov might not be back any time soon. Even fully healthy, I still think we need another winger. And definitely a top-4 RHD.

Why would Seattle move them for picks? Words out there is they want to add (at the draft) rather than subtract at the TDL.

Then don't move them for picks. I believe the question was what would Seattle be looking for. Columbus has a very deep prospect pool as well, with players that are capable of playing in the NHL if not fully developed yet. It's believed that the only way the CBJ moves such players (or 1st round picks) is for players with term (or potential term - pending RFA). Both Seattle players would qualify and seems like a good possible fit. I think these two teams match up pretty well. Picks or no picks.
