I went with Potsy over 6-0-0 since they haven't played great teams, except perhaps for LA. Hopefully, they can take care of business on Thursday(the sometimes tricky return home game) and then we can look forward to a big Saturday night tilt with the resurgent Wings.

Pretty sure both Anaheim and Detroit have same schedule as Boston leading up to their games, so they should be "tired" also. I'm glad they play Anaheim so close together and they won't be looking past Detroit.

That so many people are so negative about the team.

No they haven’t played the 86 Oilers, 77 Habs or 81 Islanders yet but they’re 6-0 and still working out the kinks.

It’s a marathon and there will be ups and downs and myriad changes throughout the league between now and June.

My best advice is to enjoy the ride and stop worrying about the boogeyman around the corner.

The first 3 for me. I wasn't expecting 6-0.

I was cautiously optimistic with Poitras knowing that it had been a long time since we had a youngin' make the team out of camp. His vision and willingness to get into the mix have sold me on keeping him here. I was also pleasantly surprised with Beecher and really like his game.

I was hoping to see a rejuvinated JVR and I have a new found appreciation for how he plays and sees the game. I spent so much time being annoyed by him (thanks to the absolute love fest in the 2011 Philly series) by Doc and Pierre. I am so glad he's here and contributing where we need him on and off the ice. Now if we could just fix the mouthguard situation. JVR-Coyle-Frederic is the best 3rd line since the Ryder-Kelly-Peverley line imo.

I am taking it game by game and trying not to get too high or low. I've put any thoughts of playoffs out of my mind b/c I think all of the negative shots at the team come from some people here and on social media who think the playoffs are a guarantee. I just want to enjoy the season and see how they move into this next generation.

Not sure if it's more surprising to see a 19 year old light it up or a literal corpse play fantastic hockey. Toss up for me.

For the answer to be Poitras, you have to be shocked by exactly one thing happening. You have to be shocked by him being an NHL C, and already maybe an all-around better one that Charlie (holy).

But for 6-0, TONS of things have to happen, not just that one thing. I'm surprised at that. And in a time when some guys you'd think would score, haven't scored (much).

One thing I've been surprised by that hasn't been mentioned yet is Lucic's skating. He's looked far better this year than I expected given his age and lack of speed over the course of his career. But he looks like he's worked on it and has a little more giddyup in his stride this year compared to the last few season.

JVR mainly because I figured he be somewhere between washed up and ok, not almost a PPG

The record is fairly surprising but they’d have mostly muffins and I personally thought the bruins could still threaten for top 3 in the Atlantic so it’s not all that surprising. 4-2 or 5-1 was probably a better prediction but 6-0 isn’t out of this world unbelievable

Poitras point totals are great, somewhat surprising, but had a feeling he’d stick because Monty is a good coach and I thought he might be one of those players thag just exponentially grows game to game. His preseason to me showed he was going to continue that trend

DeBrusk is always streaky
