I don't disagree with your general point but every single NHL team Corson played on improved after he left. He's kind of unique that way.

that caufield, suzuki, hutson, slaf, gallagher, and demidov ate shit in the defensive zone.
Four of the Caps goals were empty netters, practically all these guys were on the ice for every single one of them. That's not eating shit defensively, and plus minus is a terrible stat to rely on especially on a small sample size. I definitely would've wished to see more impact from Slaf in these playoffs though.

sounds good! I dont mind being proved wrong.
I remember Oilers made the conf finals, and we traded Corson for Damphousse.

Oilers missed the playoffs, and Habs won the cup.

Then the Oilers traded him for Cujo and started making the playoffs again.

I wouldn't blame Corson for that.

Cale Makar... As much as it hurts.

But getting that much praise and as a Norris-candidate (and probably winner) this was just a brutal outing not only for himself, but also for the AVS in general......

Robertson has 1 assist in 6 games and is averaging a shot a game so far these playoffs. Don't notice him either.

Tage should have made it over both.

Coming back from injury. Tage is a bum, like that entire Buffalo roster. No playoffs again.

Nylander. Zero points in last four games against Panthers. Didn’t show up for any puck battles.

"Deep run" usually refers to conference finals or better. They did that 5 times in your timespan.
I think I'm saying the opposite of what you think I am. I don't consider making the finals in any sport as choking unless they are up at least 3-1 in it. and doing that multiple times.
Sharks did have a reputation for choking at one time but, in my mind, that's gone as soon as you make a "deep run" and definitely when you make the finals.
