Biggest No Shows for teams eliminated

Brayden Point was probably the worst Lightning forward relative to expectations. Kucherov had 2 guys on him for the majority of the series but not saying he couldn't have been better. Hedman Hagel and Cirelli were all disappointing but injured/suspended.

Bright spots: Goncalves, Guentzel, Cernak, Paul

Habs having to pay 2 more seasons of almost $15m for their 4th liners Gallagher and Anderson is pretty bad.
It is but Laine was a complete bust this post season and Gallagher at least plays with some heart.

Anderson is dead weight out there.

They were third line by minutes all year. Gallagher scored 20 goals this year. Anderson turned himself into a high level PK player this year and was really our sole physical presence up front in the playoffs. Rebounded on goals too. Overpaid, yes. 4th liners? No.

Matheson Laine BAD
Caufield was quiet but not BAD like those two
Matheson was horrendous except for one shift in game 4, conveniently highlighted by Sportsnet lol. He had a tough year from start to finish.

I don't think Caufield was too quiet. It will always be hard for him against heavy teams, but I'll take the production he provided. It's the lack of a second line that was and is the issue.

Cirelli with Tampa. No idea what's the hype with this guy.

If they're eliminated, Byfield with Los Angeles. Abysmal in his own zone and didn't do much offensively.

Montreal, the team was a let down offensively. Expected more from pretty much everyone (goalies did good). Only two players have more than 2 points in 5 games... that's hella bad.

Didn't watch a single Canes-Devils game so no idea.

Vasilevskiy wasn't at the top of his game. Can't blame him for the series, but wanted to see him at a higher level. Same could be said for Kucherov and Point, but Florida deserves credit for shutting them down. Hedman drove me crazy just wasting shots from the point nonstop, bombing it wide or not getting them through at all. Moser was underwhelming too.

Cirelli was disappointing but worth noting that he was injured in game 1 and couldn't even practice throughout the series. Definitely not good enough from him though.

Gonna be Marner, Nylander, and Matthews soon. A combined 3 goals from all of them in 5 games. Elite
They just need more experience, they won 1 round in their first decade in the NHL, think of how sweet it's gonna be watching 60 year old Auston/Mitch and Willie finally bring a cup back to Toronto!

thought Caufield was fine, maybe a bit snakebit. He and Suzuki always come to play against the Caps so I think he would’ve gotten his eventually if they extended the series.

I was shocked at how tiny he was in the handshake line, looked closer to 5’6 than 5’8. Doesn’t play that small though

My dad is 5'8, I've skated with my dad and seen how tall he is beside the board. Caufield is definitely under 5'8.

Kopitar and Doughty as always. Both are reliably out of gas by Game 4 of these series and this year was no exception. Byfield after the first 2 games was not good at all.

And the Kings entire 4th line and 3rd pair were literally no-shows, through no fault of their own.

Do you watch the Habs???????????? Other than the first line all forwards were garbage offensively all year.
Were they going to change in the playoffs.
