Whatever.Pepper said:Two words: watch the games. Ok, that's three words but you probably get the drift.
Selänne has been good (not great but definetly good) offensively and played solid defensive game as well.

For me, the most dissapointing team is Slovakia. We play with 0 desire and wilingness. I hope a miracle happens and we start to play tommorow or else we need big .
The most surprising team is Finland. Many experts ranked them behind SWE and CZE but they won the group. They play with desire and want to win. Kiprusoff is also helping them.
Players: Modin is playing very good for SWE. (I dont watch NA games except SVK so I cant say who is the best over there). Also Daniel Kreutzer (GER) played good and created chances. Not the best player but he surprised me.
Dissapointments: There are a lot of players who can go here: Satan, Naslund, Hull etc.

Slovakia)... but i am a firm believer in having a solid 2-way forward on the top line, and i think Afinogenov is one of Russia's sounder defenisive forwards so i don't think he's at all out of place w/ Kovalchuk, Datsyuk.
agreed, he is a crafty stickhandler, and is a great skater, just doesn't seem to finish that often... wouldn't call him a disappointment, though.
other than Kovalev, however, he is probably the best forward [on the team] at cycling the puck down low..

Guerin & Tkachuk get "evens." They've scored goals but taken dumb penalties that have cost the team.

I cant comment too much about Alfredsson since I only see him play in the Finland game and some here seems to think he have play well so far. But for me, he was definitely trying too much agaisnt Finland. Especially in the 3rd when trailing by a goal, we have seen Alfredsson trying to deck all Finlands players instead of looking for a pass. Sweden have lost several occassions on offense simply because this guy was loosing the puck trying to scores all by himself. Perhaps it was because he really was trying more than others but...
I believe he is property of the Devilsborro said:Martin has really impressed me alot. Is he a free agent or does someone own his rights????
You could say that. You could also say he played 70 games and had 24 points for NJ this year. He's an NHL regular already.roast said:I believe he is property of the Devils
