All the talk before the season started was how is anyone going to beat City for the title and how unstoppable Mbappe would be at Madrid.

Which has been more disappointing?

Easily Man City.

Mbappe has had a tough start at Madrid, but objectively hasn’t been terrible. We just expect more from the best player in the world. His non-penalty xG/90 is still 90th percentile in Europe. He’s the 7th highest rate player in La Liga on WhoScored.

Man City have been shambolic, and in all competitions.

I dunno, Mbappe looks like Darwin Nunez on some of his chances this season. Just firing it right at the keeper.

I feel like there was a lot more uncertainty around how Mbappe would settle at Real, City's fall-off seems a lot more out of nowhere, though we'll also see how long it lasts

Disappointing or pleasant surprise?

He’s been awful. Despise his penalties

The season isn’t over yet. Madrid could win La Liga still. City could luck into a trophy still.

Mbappe will probably be fine eventually. The City team does not have the luxury of time to figure it out

Mbappé has been playing fine for 4-5 games.

City are just sinking more and more while that little bitch Pep whines about having players injured.

If it was anyone else I’d feel bad for City. LFC had this season from hell before. The players are all exhausted and the team isn’t fit and bad dominos just keep falling

City is literally stacked with talent

People whine about Rodri but with that oil money they can buy anyone to replace him

What is going on with City now with that manager and that oil money is not fathomable.
