Up two in the third period of G7 and they let their former player destroy them.
That’s arguably worse than what the Kings did.

The way the Blues played the final 2 minutes was the worst decision making I have ever seen in my life. Firing pucks around the boards instead of high flips out. Icing the puck instead of skating it out of the zone. Giving the Jets all the time and space they wanted with zero puck pressure.
Complete and utter collapse that was perhaps the most embarrassing I have witnessed. They had that game so easy and just gave it away for free with bone headed decisions for 2 minutes straight.

People made comments that was should have been the Stanley cup. It was a good series. Blues weren’t supposed to. I’d say la against the oilers was the biggest choke job. Specially after winning the first two games

Both the avs and stars were being placed in the cup. It was a tight series. But yes rants destroyed the avs almost single handedly

Seems like the better teams stepped up and won all four series. But I didn't watch the Stars/Aves #7 or Panthers/Lightning #4 so likely one of those if people are convinced that someone blew it.

Nothing beats being up 2 goals late in the 3rd and then giving up the latest tying goal in game 7 history. All while having a goalie playing like a superstar. The Blues put a master class of how not to defend a lead on tape. Careless rings around the boards. Stupid attempts at the empty net that led to icing after icing. They played the puck like it was a grenade, and it cost them.

I voted LA but after thinking on it, the AVS I think win this poll just because the first two Rantanen goals were because of atrociously bad defence positioning which is the real choke of it all. Then the needless drury penalty to seal their fate. Just absolutely the definition of choke.

That #8 seed was the #1 team in the whole league the last 40% of the season. Just to lend some context..
Everyone told me the presidents trophy winner was oh so great, for some additional context. Should've never had this much of a problem with an 8 seed
