Addiction is not an easy thing to deal with. It's terrible for the addicted and can actually even feel liek it sucks worse for those who love them. The thing is, if you were ever a family member or close friend of someone who has battled these problems, there is no way you can't hope for the best for them. There is no way you don't celebrate life's little victories with them. You may not place your trust in them, but you still love them. You will still treasure your time spent together. But you do have to place limits and they have to be firm.
Now all that being said, this is hockey board and we are sports junkies not personal friends and family members of these players, so I don't expect the same type of responses here.

Goaltenders are complete voodoo to me. What is it that happened where Georgiev just went onto the ice with such damn confidence and just play like a gangster. How do athletes tap into that more frequently? He really was great tonight.
