Yeah, Sanford has the young deer look, tentative, this kind of speed is way over his head at the moment.

Still, a call-up may be the motivation he needs. He can't be any worse than Sanford IMO.

Travis Boyd usually plays center but has played wing in his career. He deserves a shot up here given the points he has put up.

Hmm, you don't feel spoiled when you understand that you are seeing something very rare.
Caps need to check the UFA market for high-energy fans. Not the ones you need to plug into an electric outlet, though.

He has the wheels to play this style. He was decently gritty in bottom-6. And the pressure for him to score would be much less this time around.

It's painful to watch Sanford play right now. I'm sure he has a great future but looks timid and unsure of what to do on the ice.

This. I think Galiev could fit in that spot for a brief time. Has been playing well in Hershey lately.
