Post-Game Talk: Big bad leafs win 5-2

The craziest part is I think the NYR game was their best.

Never! Unless it is the power play or 3 on 3 overtime.

When did the current coach split them up again? They started the season together right?

Now the Leafs have two scoring lines that are rolling.

A third line that does an adequate job. A fourth that is no nonsense and does its part.

The real upgrade to the team is the defense with Liljegren and Sandin playing really well.

We see what happens next.

This is Toronto after all. Weird things happen to the hockey team.

Bruins deserved at least one playoff loss to this Leafs team, the penalties (and non-calls) and suspension lengths in some series were questionable IMO. I

It's not healthy to perceive the league being unfair, but it certainly seemed that way. Even neutral fans on this site shared such opinions.

Maple Leafs only won their division cause they beat up on bad Canadian teams. they cant beat good American teams ....... Leafs beat CHI, DET, VGK, TBL, and BOS.

Not gonna lie I checked out for a couple games (and I mean like 2 games), but I've been hardcore again lately. Last 3 outtings the effort is where you kind of dream about, but don't expect from a cozy Leafs squad.

This is a good team that got off to a bad start and of course everyone panicked, this is bi-polar nation. Imagine being a Habs fan right now.

We're ok.

Yes, we can't get out of the first round.......until we do.

He has been REALLY bad for the Islanders. Cooked bad.

The Leafs would feast all over him if this is what he is now. The man is turning 45 this year... I think it is time to call it a career.

Chatted loads of shit in the offseason about how superior the Habs are to the Leafs going into this season and disappears when things get fun?
