I think the Red Wings are just a little too raw and a little too soft to make it. Good skill, but it ain't this year.

Nice to see the 4th line, and Goody specifically, have a big night. I don't think goodrow is as bad as his numbers say. That's not to say I think he is great, but he has played a comical amount of tough hockey for 5ish years in a row. I don't think it's a coincidence that he gets a night off and then has a good game. I hope they give him some rest before playoffs, but they won't. We will see of course.

I know we all watch this team every night and we have a laundry list of gripes longer than your arm about this team but it's got to be tough to be a team trying to run the Rangers down in this race because they just keep f***ing winning. Look at Carolina tonight. Oh, you come back from 2-0 to win tonight? Cute. Rangers won again. Ground gained:0
Compared to other teams now and previous rangers teams my list of gripes is pretty nonexistent. There is no perfect team and this years rangers are better than most. They’re goo, deep, and can win in a bunch of ways.

Vally calling out the Red Wings for diving. Anyone with eyes can see they are a bunch of ballerinas
I was watching the caps game yesterday. Not that it’s news but to me Wilson is the most egregious (and effective) diver I’ve seen. That said, if you’re going out there looking to draw a whistle you’re not focusing on scoring.

I was worried about this game more than any of the last 6. The emotional game against the Devils, road game, playing a desperate team that had 4 days off. Nope. They just keep on winning.
Same. Had a bad feeling about this one. Detroit has everything to play for. The rangers nothing. And still the rangers won fairly handily. Very impressed.

Thought this today. He’s no longer just a guy. He’s making plays in tough situations. He has some bulldog in him. He doesn’t mind fighting for space despite being on the smaller side. I can understand why Lavi has him in there. His guts play is contagious.
There's not much doubt he is within our best 12 forwards.

The Rempe huggers don't see it though

I’d like to see Rempe play more too though. They offer different value but they’re both contributors. Part of the reason I’m so impressed with this team. They can win a bunch of different ways.

It would be so awesome if we could turn out the lights on the Flyers and the Islanders. And the Devils and Penguins miss? I lived through the Cup in 94. I can't say I might not enjoy all that misery more than I enjoyed winning it all.
Devils look done. Two of these five will make it - Isles, Flyers, Penguins, Caps, Wings

that was one of the weirdest games all season. the 3rd and 4th lines absolutely dominated after doing nothing for weeks.
Fourth line, yeah. Third line has been better than nothing recently.

Yeah. And he's fast. Noticed him several times last night use his speed to make a defensive/forecheck play.
