Start the season in September.

I know they want to avoid football and maybe give the players more summer vacation but selfishly I’m always in the mood for hockey when school starts up.

Just cut the number of regular season games down by 6 during those years. Everyone gets that you can't compare stats anymore.

All sounds amazing except for playing in Europe. That is a bad plan. Us and Canadian players stay home while the euros fly to Europe and then fly back a week later. Lot easier to have it all on one location so it's fair for everyone.

And if you think I'm wrong then please let Canada and USA play in Europe and fly back. They'd all be pissed.

Just cause a dude was born in Helsinki, Stockholm, kladno or Kosice...does not mean they want to fly there mid season to play 2 games and fly back.

I honestly didn't interpret it that way. In interpreted 8 teams. 4 stay in North America. 4 go to Europe.

That I don't like. If it's everyone flying to Europe for it then sure but I can't see that happening. Can you?

That’s my best guess. Big loss to have no Draisaitl, although I’m assuming Germany would replace Russia if you know what isn’t resolved.
