I'm interested in putting some money on the sens to win the Stanley Cup this year.
Before everyone laughs me off, I figure:
1) NHL is a crazy unpredictable league
2) Sens are underrated right now, and the payout probably would never get bigger
3) We've got at least a few potential breakout/comeback players this year (basically our whole team is new or coming off a lousy season)
4) There's at least one team that surprises each year.
5) Most importantly, it will add some enjoyment for my season if I know I've got a few bucks on the line that I'm not afraid to lose.
I know some casinos in Vegas will take bets on the Stanley Cup winner. Are there any legal ways to bet on the Stanley Cup winner in Canada? Anyone have any experience on this? Anyone know where I can find the current odds?
And, for a fun discussion...does anybody else agree with me that the sens have at least have an outside chance of winning the cup this year?
