Slaf currently being better than Laf is Laf-able. Laf had 51 even strength points last year and Slaf had 36. And Laf has just gotten better in the playoffs when he had 11 even strength points in 16 games. And this season 8 in 8 games. Maybe some day Slaf will be better because he's younger but currently it's not particularly close. Laf is one of the better even strength point producers in the NHL. Laf just doesn't get the PP time Slaf does.

And to the "buuuut Panarin" people, take a look at the other winger that Panarin has played with on the Rangers before he played with Laf. None of them were productive.
