Best ways to watch this season?

I haven't given hockey much thought since the end of last season. What are some of the options for watching hockey this year?

I'm not getting a traditional cable package. I cut that cord long ago.

Preseason right now Victory+ is great.

Regular season you have to do something like NHL66 or others. but will need VPN to watch.

I really hope the Blues announce a deal with Victory+ for regular season because app is already 100X better than Ballys.

Bally Sports App but you won’t get any of the nationally broadcasted games. Then there’s FuboTV which has Bally plus ESPN/TNT but it’s just about the same price as Spectrum if you choose the right package

Techno idiot here. I don't have a VPN, but I am ready to do that. Besides protection how does that help me watch Blues hockey? Will it enable me to watch Blues hockey on NHL66? Last year i was unable to do that. I have youtube TV. Should I just get Ballys?

Anytime they want me sign up for a large cable package to watch games, I tune out. That business model died last decade.

You have to download one such as Proton or others. Then you just change setting to another country and you can watch it on NHL66. You can't watch it through USA unless it is on certain channels. If you are on internet outside of country, you can watch it.

If it's like the last few years you just need to subscribe to 4 different streaming services that cost as much or more than a basic cable package.

The NHL and the Blues make it so easy! They really go out of their way to make the fan experience great! They're doing all the the things needed to keep the sport growing and thriving!

This will be the first year I don't even bother trying to watch hockey at home on TV. They get none of my money this year, Bally can eat it.

The Blues and the NHL clearly don't want people watching so I will give them what they want. When they make it easier and cheaper I'll be back, until then, I guess I'm done.

Obviously not living in the STL makes things really easy. ESPN+ carries nearly all the games, I have YouTubeTV for TNT broadcasts, and all I miss are the ones on NHL Network. When they play the Avs, and I can't go to the game, I use a VPN and then log into ESPN+.
