Best thing(s) about Stanley Cup playoffs?

The tension. The stakes. The shit talking.

Every year fans wear their hearts on their sleeves. Everyone cares so deeply and roots so much, but for 15 fanbases- tears and upset.

As a Sabres fan, I look forward to needling those people and really egging on that drama and sadness.
The unexpected heroes

By Jove, you just had to say it.

Best music video of all time, and I know it’s not technically that, but dammit I’m counting it.

For me, the immediateness of intensity starting in game 1.

You can feel it as every team wants to set the tone early.

And it ramps up from there.

teams that dont show dont have second chances 4 months later for revenge, its do or die

crowd reaction shots from the visiting team’s watch party back home after a huge momentum-shifting goal

when they are over and I get to stop hearing about "Canada's team" when only 1 is left, most f***ing annoying things in hockey.

Every zone entry has a purpose, every hit is finished. Overtimes. Montreals fans in their high capacity arena. That blissful time between the start of the playoffs until some idiot crosses the line and does something really dangerous to another player

Getting amped for Baseball season frankly as a Sabres fan. Then again I'm a Braves fan and this year has started.....rough all around lol. But I have a feeling June is gonna like....be my month.

Why do the players play these games for free? I think they should be compensated. If my boss told me I had to come in to work more because we were really good in the regular season oh and by the way, I won't get paid for having to put up with the most intense, painful work known to man. When you look at the bigger picture this is just dumb.
