How about not trading our injured center for a first so we can sign a free agent
I would've added everything else, but it all started with Huberdeau. Him coming off a 115 point season going to a contender for under $4m would've set Calgary up nicely.

Weegar, Lindholm, Hanifin, Markstrom... More guys that could've been turned into exciting futures that could've cut years off of the rebuild.

There are reasons why managers avoid the rebuild, but I personally believe that teams should avoid the mushy middle.

After about 100 games each I made a poll asking who would score more points over their careers, Rantanen or Laine. It got locked because Laine was winning by so much. It was very obvious then that Rantanen was the better player who would achieve more.

Before or during their rookie seasons:
- Gaudreau had 105+ point upside and would contend for scoring titles
- Fox would be a perennial Norris contender
- Bratt would become a PPG player
- Seider over Broberg at the draft
- Patrick Kane should be a top pick in 2007 (back when he was rated ~25th)

Being a bit negative:
- Bedard would not be a generational player
- Wright should not be the top pick in 2022 - I had Lambert and Casey ahead of him, which I feel pretty good about at this point.
- Was 100% certain that Lazar and Zacha would significantly underperform vs their draft positions.
- Gilbert Brule and Benoit Pouliot would bust

In South Carolina
Matthews > Eichel AINEC back in 2018. Marner's contract was going to be the worst one in the league and ruin the Leafs. Dubas is has no business being a GM in the NHL. Leafs didn't need Tavares. Giving up those picks for Kessel would set us back 5-8 years. God f***in christ this team owes me $1000/year for therapy. So many dumb f***in decisions.

All of them, but mainly Ive been ripping Buffalos culture from 2017 or so on and ive been told how dumb I was over and over and how it was x players fault, y players fault, then coach x, then coach y, and finally making it to management and ownership.

I predicted a great number of Leaf-related trades, promotions, demotions, put on waivers, etc.

Everything from Grabbo's buyout to Matthews being TOR's 1C in their first week of his regular season, Keefe not having the coaching ability to take TOR deep in the playoffs, OEL, etc.

Too many to name, and often mistaken for trolling. Now the mods on the leaf board are cool and give me time and space to post elite analysis and speculation.

I don't know about best but when the league used a pandemic for an excuse to use "temporary" helmet ads I made the fairly obvious prediction that they would be permanent and jersey ads would follow soon after.
