Forsberg definitely had the best prime of the three in the NHL. Sundin was better for Tre Kroner. So depends how you want to look at it

Henrik Sedin's name should be removed. He's nowhere near any discussion of the best Swedish centre.

Sundin and Forsberg stand far above everybody else.

Forsberg wes, of course, the better natural scorer. Great in both the NHL and internationally. Very smart, ultra competitive, one of the very best passers in hockey history. He had a little bit of Bobby Clarke in him, and a little bit of Gretzky

Sundin was a formidable player who was better than his NHL numbers. He was an elite hockey player, and was good enough to go head-to-head against anybody, at any time. He was capable of outplayed Forsberg, and he often did when they were teammates on Team Sweden, in particular, but also in the NHL.

Not very close and your poll result looks kind of like a big old cock with one ball being slightly smaller than the other (usually the left but in this case the right)

There were things Forsberg could do that Sundin never could. Sundin had the longevity, but as far as greatness goes, it's Forsberg for me.

Could say the opposite is also true. Sundin could do things Forsberg couldn't. He was in another league as a goal scorer.

But I think Forsberg was the better player.

Would be interesting to see Sundin on a better team than he was for sure. Just can’t seriously give him credit for things he didn’t do that forsberg did.

Maybe in the regular season, but in the playoffs Forsberg was a better goalscorers than the likes of Yzerman, Crosby, Jagr, Sundin, Kariya, Matthews, Stamkos, Malkin, Kucherov etc etc etc. You know, when it matters the most.

He was also better defensively, better playmaker and more physical. He was special.

It’s sad that we don’t have anyone like the ones mentioned in the poll anymore. Not even a Zetterberg, Bäckström…

Better shot, yes.

.4 goals per game for Sundin
.35 goals per game Forsberg

That isn't another league to me.

It's one off these. By points or by point league winner or by trophies.
I think you should change title to best swedish center in NHL.

Sven Tumba would be my vote if it's the best swedish center in history. I don't think any of these guys come close to him. A semi-modern comparable would be Mike Bossy.

Edit: 186 goals in 245 games on the highest level. Facing teams like old school soviet. I think only one of the CCCP legends had a better goals per game (Mikhailov)

If you look at his all time stats he could be a top ten player all time.

I love Forsberg but I don't think he's top 3 among swedish centers all time.

Forsberg was more skilled
Sundin had more longevity

Voted Sedin because it's funny
