Best Skating Teams in the East

And Mcdonagh, the guy is just a flat out special skater. The best skating defenseman to lace them up for the Rangers since Leetch

Skjei flies, too. I like the direction the team has been going in at the draft, speed is the way to go in today's NHL. In a couple years, we'll have the smoothest skating defense in the East.

Rico Fata is pretty much the definition of a player with great wheels who couldn't put the rest of his game together at the NHL level. In a thread about skating ability, he's a great reference. So, for the matter, is Sjostrom, but at least he was a good PKer.

By the way, neither Lidster nor Lafayette belong on that list

Fata reminds me of that guy you would draft in NHL 12 who had a C in offensive and defensive potential, but an A in athleticism potential. Always pissed me off.

Truthfully, I'm really, really intrigued by the idea of a Pouliot-Moore-Dorsett 4th line. Tough, solid defensively, and most of all, speedy. Could prove to be one of the more dangerous bottom six combinations throughout the whole league.
