I had this idea for a couple of months now, but decided to put it into action. There are some issues, like Utah not having a team yet and some people retiring or moving, so I decided to keep the 2023-24 broadcast in some aspects. Also, I chose the broadcast team with more broadcasts in certain situations, like the Maple Leafs.

Vote based on who you think is the best team to listen to when a team plays against your favourite team, and why did you vote for them?

like:

Rangers (usually lol)

Pittsburgh
Philadelphia
Dallas

Dislike:
Detroit
Boston
Florida

Used to hate the Devils broadcast but the guy they got to replace Screechin Steve has made it better and I like Daneyko’s buffoonishness

I also don’t mind the NYI broadcast that much, Butch Goring is a salty old homer but Burke is really good

The answer is Montréal AINEC, but not those dudes; it's the team on RDS for sure

It's in french, but Pierre Houde is the f***ing GOAT, and that's a goddamn fact
I'll die on that hill for sure, and I don't care
Marc Denis is a solid color commentator too

TVA team (the other french team) absolutly suck ass and Mudryk+ are good, but they ain't shit in comparison to the legendary Pierre Houde

Flames probably went from one of the best to one of the worst going from Rick Ball to Derek Wills.

Like the Dallas guys, went with them.
Rangers is pretty solid all around and their intermission stuff is often better than ESPN's national broadcasts.
Philly's and the Islander guys are alright.
Have developed an ironic taste for the Altitude crew. Total cheesy homers but they make me laugh.

Sam Rosen is noticeably aged in a bad way. Micheletti is still great. Goring is cooked. Spaulding is excellent and Daneyko is around average.

I don't get any other regional games.

This has to be a near impossible poll to do honestly. Who out there has a good idea of the quality of all 32 broadcasts?

Homer voted for Jack and Louie. Biased obviously but they are an excellent and entertaining duo.

I'll miss Poulin on the broadcasts. I thought he was insightful, unbiased, and to the point.

Joe Beninati is the man

Rangers fans voting for their crew is hilarious. Yes, they’re veterans and legends of their craft, but today they’re too old and making a lot of mistakes during the broadcast.

For the Leafs choice there put them near the bottom. The TSN games are my favorite they are entertaining in the studio and the call is great with Gord Miller and Mike Johnson

Shorty is amazing. Knows the games, is really witty and can work with anyone. (see Cory Hirsch) Him and Garret were a treat, 'Nucks fans were spoiled having them both.

Vancouver actually has a really strong history of best-in-class announcers.

Getzoff is a huge upgrade from Mears for Pitt. That being said, went with Dallas. Their production is always top notch.
